    It deserves pointing out that the new widescreen DLP's have much faster color wheels and nobody has reported seeing rainbows yet.     No, TI who makes the DMD chips discard any chips with stuck mirrors, so I believe "stuck pixels" on DLP projectors are rare. The new DLP's are pretty spectacular. The Sharp 9000 and other manufacturers versions with similar specs looks awesome. Street price will probably be around $8000 though...
