I had a similar experience at a showing of TVYNS except that while the younger audience did laugh at the early scenes they got decidedly quiet after the crucifix scene and everything leading up to the climax. On the whole they seemed to get into the film after awhile.
Well in all fairness it wasn't Warner's fault that the European money men who owned the rights to the material were being dick's about it...I'm very sure that they wanted to bring this out years ago but were held up by red tape.
Also, didn't a similar link to Youtube about 6 pages ago get shut down by the mods here because it was a "copyright infraction" or something along those lines? Maybe they don't want it back up...you think?
If all (within reason) versions of the film are being included then no worries as far as I am concerned.
Bring it on and more power to you Charlie. :emoji_thumbsup:
Really? I didn't know that, I always thought many (if not most) FX back then were done on VistaVision cameras which I believe runs standard 35mm but with more of the negative exposed....but this being Douglas Trumble I have no doubt he would demand a larger frame for the quality (I.E. less...

Oh, also there might be...
So because he was a newbie (to DVD's and or HTF I guess) he deserved a "hard time"? I'm sorry but that ain't the HTF I have grown to love over these last seven years, that kind of stuff belongs in a newsgroup....IMO anyway.
Anyway I agree with Zen, ship it to me in a paper bag for...
I'm not suggesting that the only SE box set should be some big bulky collectable....but for us hyper nerd fans...well, I would shell out the cash for a collectable SE set. I certainly didn't see any complaints at the Kong tin being offered as an alternative to the basic two disc set.
Now for...
On page 14 Will-B posted some HD caps & on page 15 Magnus T has a few comparisons between the HD and the 1997 DVD.....although I still say that the third HD cap has a color balance that I have never noticed in that scene before.
Well I hate the film.......I wonder why I am so obsessed with it though?
Well I can't find the interview that Scott said this in but I remember around the time of White Squall he said in an interview that he preferred it to be ambiguous, he certainly believed that Deckard "was" but leaving...
