    Criterion Blu-ray titles!

I think it could be a Blu-ray release of the beloved 2005 short PICKLE POWER, which includes the State Pickle Eating Contest. Anyone? No?

    Criterion Blu-ray titles!

I'm very happy to maintain a large collection of Blu-rays, DVDs and even about 30 lasers that never had their content ported over. I admit my own collecting has slowed down big time over the past couple of years, but that's mostly due to the nature of the content that's available. I used to...

    Criterion Blu-ray titles!

I've heard speculation that the angel over the ocean is Breaking the Waves. Interesting thought re Tootsie. There is bonus material that was not included in the Blu-ray I reviewed of The Deer Hunter last year. It is possible that Criterion either acquired this material or has something else...

That is so wrong it's right. Wow. Whoever is doing these clues over at Criterion is my kind of humorist...

    Criterion Blu-ray titles!

On the last clue, perhaps "Boxing Helena" with deleted scenes featuring Rebecca Pidgeon... And to answer Cees from a bit earlier, I honestly am an unrestrained admirer of Criterion. I don't pick up every title of theirs, but I have a very happy and healthy library of their work. I...

    Criterion Blu-ray titles!

I think this could actually be a documentary about the Skinny Cow lowfat ice cream company. And here come the flames!....

    Criterion Blu-ray titles!

For me, Criterion remains the gold standard. For laserdiscs, DVDs and now for Blu. It sounds to me like they've been fairly open about their policies, and fairly approachable about their reasoning. I can only hope one day for a trip to the shelves like Guillermo del Toro...
