    I can tell you how I think about it. :) You are correct in terms of polarity. Positive = 100% in phase (in theory) and negative = 100% (or 180 deg) out of phase (in theory). Let's say the crossover freq is 80 Hz. The idea is to adjust the phase between the sub so that the peaks and valleys...
