    Also, my new speakers are 25 pounds each, so I am going to need to make those stands HEAVY.

    I got some 24" stands from Parts Express and they are fillable. What is the best stuff to use? Is a bag of (dry, obviously) playground sand all I want, or something else? Thanks!
