    I'm optimistic about a 4k disc of this wonderful film, particularly now that Universal has set the ball rolling with the Hitchcock set. Also expecting North by Northwest following the remarks by George Feltenstein on the recent podcast. White Christmas on 4k for Christmas!?

    I watched the new blu ray tonight. As others have said it is a mixed bag. The good is that the colours are a little brighter and skin tones look more natural. The bad is that the image is not as crisply resolved and it does look ever so slightly 'smeary' in motion compared to the 2012 release...

    It's my favourite Grace Kelly film, she is much better partnered with Cary Grant than Bing. Also a lovely feel good film in the current environment when travel is curtailed and the South of France is so appealing.

    I look forward to receiving my copy. One thing that puzzles me is previous posters' comments referring to the Sunbeam Alpine, which is clearly metallic blue on the previous blu ray.

    If the Australian VV releases are good, hopefully this and others (eg Houseboat, Teacher's Pet, That Kind of Woman, The Court Jester etc) will also be released.
