A friend of mine heard that the company was going to fix the problem but there wouldn't be any announcement. The new discs would just kinda show up on the shelves whenever. Has anyone else heard about this?

Yeah, I just saw the first 4 eps and they are good. I don't quite rate any of them near to the 1st GITS movie but on their own they're entertaining.
