Shit, just $150 for bulbs on the 6050? That’s great. They’re like $250-300 for the 5030!

They also included some extra kind of warranty and service plan and replacement lamps so you ultimately got more than just the color. Maybe not $1000 worth of stuff but at least half that.

This looks like it’s the successor to the 6050 - this “pro” version of the 5050 - so that’s probably the better price comparison.
