Nelson, Thanks for that link! That *does* explain quite a bit. The bottom line is that the explanation for "the 25 year wait" just *had* to be in the movie! Also, the "eddies and backwash" explanation for the "Spock Prime"/Kirk meeting would have made a lot of old time Trek fans very happy...
