Ill add a very positive review to counter the negative one I posted earlier.

As for being "ready to hate", Brandon, we've both been members of this foum a long time, and you should know my love for the genre.
I linked...
I kind of like this...
But IMHO they went overboard with the texture. Another overdesigned suit. Theres so much texture, it looks like armor, which is just wrong on Superman. I understand WHY its used by Kal-El, but wished they toned it down.
Had no idea Antje Traue was in this....
The image looks so drab and gloomy. Superman is about hope. He's not Batman.
All the stills Ive seen actually look better with the saturation upped. The middle is what they're using, yet to me the last pic looks best.
Adams I think can pass for a woman in her 20s. Carla not so much, even though shes great looking, IMHO she looks late 30s. I think ten years ago Carla would have been perfect.
As for Zack, I liked DOTD and loved Watchmen, but didnt care for 300 and really have no interest in Sucker Punch...
Considering the way Zack went with the Watchmen costumes, and their desire to "update" the character, Id be suprised if we got a faithful version of the costume.
I dont think we will. I wouldnt be suprised if they did away with the trunks and added some textures and design to the blues of...
I believe that comes from when they were looking at Matthew Goode for Superman.
"According to our sources, Snyder wants Goode to play mild-mannered reporter Clark Kent and has plans to rely heavily on CGI for The Man of Steel. Essentially this means Superman could be a CG enhanced...
Alot of fans were pulling for this guy, so fanboys should be pretty happy with the choice.
I only know him from The Tudors, and thought he was good on the show.
A comic book isnt a movie though. Even comic books have taken the hint from film, and Ive noticed in some of the stuff Ive seen in recent years, although Ill admit its not much, that theyre not drawing all characters musclebound anymore, which has pretty much been standard practice all these...
Thats good news for Batman3.
Im not liking the idea of CGIing a the actor to make him fit the role physically. Although I loved Watchmen, I did have issues with Doc Manhattans build - His triceps and thighs were out of proportion and there was some wierdness with his back in alot of shots...
Superman isnt Batman. Bruce Wayne needed to "find" Batman. The simple poetic beauty of Puzos words through Brando in the Fotress scene from the Donner film says it all. Its a great scene.
I agree the premise isnt that exciting sounding. Spiderman2 and Superman Returns actually share a common...
Goode/Veidt and Ackerman/Specter were the weakest casting choices in Watchmen. But to be honest I thought both were fine with what they did.
Cudrup/Manhattan, Morgan/The Comedian and Haley/Rorschach were brilliant choices, easily my favs of the film, and were all excellent. I thought...
I didnt like 300, I did like Dawn the Dead and have Watchmen Dir Cut as number5 on my comic book adaptations list, so I dont have a problem with Zack getting the job. I think he's capable, but hope he keeps the trickery to a minimum and stays away from the type of fight choreography we saw in...
Yea they deny deny deny and then confirm the denied rumors all the time.
A recent example is Donner denying that Xmen First Class was anything beyond throwing ideas around - only to be confirmed a couple months later with Singers involvement, a clear direction on where they were going and well...
