Watched CRISIS from the Bergman set last night. Nice transfer (even though the film is not up to Bergman's later films). Looks to be the start of an excellent line of DVDs!

That would be my guess. Sort of like the Janus films set, just DVDs of the films with no extras. BTW, does anyone have that set?

Excellent list! I've never even seen those, been looking for them for years. I think this will be their first release, on video, in any format.

There was a tour of his films a few months before Criterion released their two films of his, so there are quite a few out there, that have barely been shown in the US. I would think that the new line would consider them.

The great thing here is the $15 price point. And, the whole subscriber or club program could be very interesting. Sort of the Book of the Month club for DVDs.
