I have been noticing lately that many, many products are being rated 4 and 4 1/2 stars. Do a search and get a list of like products and based on ratings, I thing these things are being manipulated. I guess this is not all that new, but it is irritating.
After I bought my Firestick 4K another better Firestick was price dropped. I called and talked them into a $50 credit. Admittedly, I’m a long-time customer, so that may have helped. Or I got lucky.
I’m going to go against the stream and say Amazon made me happy. I had three items to return. I go thru the easy online process and get notified that I don’t have to return one of the items (4K steelcase of Hunt for Red October. The blue ray looks better.). I take all three to a local...
A package was supposed to be delivered yesterday and I got a message on my phone that a problem was encountered and they couldn’t deliver. I took that to mean the driver was unwilling to skate to my door on all the ice and I don’t blame him at all.
I want out and salted the area and this...
I had an odd experience with replacing and item. I ordered some silicon lubricant and when I tracked the package it made it to Little Rock (we live near there) and then found it’s way to Portland, OR. I went online to order a replacement, that went fine until I got an email saying the...
Since you bought from a third party seller, I’d suspect the seller and not Amazon. If you really want the item, agree to the delay and screen print the page showing the higher price and the fact that it’s available now. You might want to (shudder) discuss this with an amazon csr.
For the first time I couldn’t find a button that would allow me to see all the reviews for a product. When I select “All Reviews from the US) I only get 10 and get see how to get more. It’s a blu ray concert album and here’s a link in case you want to try it out:
I’d be telling DD to ship another, post haste. If they say no, tell them you’ll protest the CC charge. The merchant chooses the shipper and is responsible for the shipper’s performance. Since it’s USPS maybe they’ll find it before the decade Is out.
Amazon used to have a program that if you owned a hard copy of a book, you could get the kindle version free. The hard copy had to be purchased from amazon and not every book was eligible. Anyone know the name for the program and is it still available?
I have noticed that Amazon often waits until the day before to ship an item that is promised the next day. So that’s overnight shipping doesn’t that cost more? Or are they pre-positioning the item so that it will take only one day?
This has become a bit of a catch all for Amazon questions and here is one: Amazon used to have a program that if you bought a hardcover of a book, you could get the Kindle version for free. I can’t remember the name of the program so it’s hard to search for and don’t even know if it’s still in...
I see a similarity in subject matter between Rick’s post and my post. Josh’s post immediately followed mine and he didn’t use a quote.
I’ll say this and leave it be. I felt personally attacked.
Last Saturday I returned two times via UPS they pack it for you service. All free. They credited the credit card by Monday. But one item was paid for in points and credit card. So I chatted with Amazon and I “talked” with 2 csr’s who kept saying the whole refund went to the credit card, when...
Any one notice how Amazon is shipping in the retail box more often? They put a disclaimer that the box reveals what’s inside and give you the opportunity for the box to be put in a plain Jane amazon box. I always select that to get the extra protection and to be less tempting to porch pirates.
Yes, I’ve never had that option before. Quite different. In the past when I’ve returned an item, they’ve processed the credit as soon as they see it’s been entered into the ups system.
I do believe that 3D was singled out to fail. The providers have done every thing they could do (short of not selling it...wait, they’re not selling it in the US) to ensure it fails. Charged more for it, required a TV purchase to get certain movies, not utilizing 3D to it’s fullest...
