I Have an Elevated and Paralyzed Right Diaphragm

I'm quoting myself since I've noticed my typing was less than stellar in this message. Do suppose the epidural had something to do with that? I had my Kindle with me and had planned to do a bunch of reading but instead I preferred to vegetate and doze. I'll pick that over the pain I would...

I Have an Elevated and Paralyzed Right Diaphragm

Well I got out on Wednesday, a day later than I expected. There considerable post-op pain I have drugs (not as good as what I'd get in the hospital, but good enough). I'm taking hydro-cosine (sp) 7.5 mg. I can take one or two every 4 hours. Two is way to much. Every 4 hours seems to be a...

I Have an Elevated and Paralyzed Right Diaphragm

It's Sunday in the hospital. None of this experience has been an agony , but find myself tired a lot. I hope to get out this Tuesday. I'll post at least one a day. The epidural I'm getting makes me dizzy, and slows me down but I'm glad I have it.

I Have an Elevated and Paralyzed Right Diaphragm

Lets, see...I've had two bunioneictomies, a procedure to remove kidney stones, gall bladder removal, and a procedure called a TURP to reduce the size of my prostate (biopsy showed no cancer). Only the TURP required an overnight in the hospital. This is all in the last 10 years. As you know...

I Have an Elevated and Paralyzed Right Diaphragm

Well, I was surprised that the condition existed. Then I surprised myself by choosing to have the surgery. My pulmonologist recommended against it, but after talking with the two surgeons it became evident that he didn't fully understand the surgery. He also thought it was so rarely done that...

I Have an Elevated and Paralyzed Right Diaphragm

If you were forced to have a condition that contained paralyzed in it's description, according to my experience, this is the one to pick. I am a runner (or was) and in late October of 2015 I started becoming unusually and extremely breathless. This seemed to happen overnight. My primary care...
