Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023)

Perhaps this has been discussed but Jones has a line in the trailer “It’s not so much what you believe, but how hard you believe it.” It sounds nice and I realize I’m taking it out of context (hell, a trailer often quotes a movie out of context), but if I take this literally, this is a very...

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023)

You have it right. When I first watched the film (and every time since) I had my “this is a fanatasy” lenses on. So I never thought she was an alcoholic, just a gal who could hold her liquor. Does any one really think Indy can take the beatings he does in this one film, and survive? So let’s...

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023)

You are not the only one, as further posts have proved. The internet has brought out the inner critic in many of of us, even the pre-crime internet critic! Oh, was that mine chase fake looking. The fact is, if you like the movie you’ll forgive stuff like this. I didn’t like Doom, but not...

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023)

I think that’s bit of an overreaction. It wasn’t perfect but neither was Leia at the end of Rogue 1 (and it was horrendous either.)

Maybe they could use the Jib Jab technology. :P

I took it to mean, yes they had an intimate relationship. I have a hard time believing they would build a family franchise around a rapist. LFL, does that refer to Lucas Films? It doesn’t come up in a google.

Mangold had stopped at his first reply, which was excellent (especially item 1) he would have been better off.

Reading between the lines, could that mean there will be other adventures without Ford?

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023)

It’s confirmed. The title will be “Indiana Jones: Oh Where Did I Put That Damn Ark Anyway?” I can definitely identify with this. Wait...what were we discussing?

Hey, we’re talking about Indiana Jones here. ;)

I agree. The key will be to admit Indy is now an old fart and the script to that.

LC is not a Raider. I meant do one in the manner of Raiders. Sure, some stinkers make dollars. My point was that making a good movie does increase your chances of making a buck. As for Solo, let us agree to disagree.

No I didn’t. Wait a minute, been a while since I watched the last one. Was Mutt his son? I was thinking that the movie could be placed in a time when he had an offspring from his “marriage.” A female raider would be cool.

Solo was not very interesting. Had it been good, it would have been successful. Indy is married now, can’t his son or daughter continue the franchise. It’d be a shame to discontinue a good ol’ antiquities plunderer. ;)

is she? Don't the Nazis really find thee Ark with or without Indy? If he's not there they get that medallion that goes on the head of the staff which is the key to finding the Ark. That was a funny episode and I need t watch again to see if she's really right.

Why do you say that? Because of Star Wars?
