Doesn't this ability for the hero to kill in cold blood reflect a change in our society? Jane has now killed twice this way. We used to look to the hero for inspiration. Now, I think we look for confirmation that the hero isn't any better than us.
I wearied of RJ and haven't watched the show for about a year. I've got some questions:
1) I've read the articles linked to above. Did RJ only appear in season 1 as the sheriff? We never saw him again?
2) Are they really going in a new direction? Are they really going to dump the CBI cast...
