Yep. All correct. Then there is reality. It's not always practical, or economically feasible.
Sometimes the striving for purity in this hobby can kind of take the fun out of it. Will you be better off buying all new speakers for the front, since there is probably no matching center? Yes...
None of the specs you listed are actually important, and yes, they can have difference impedances. I would go ahead with the Pioneer as a try. The receiver probably has some EQ controls to help match them, but it'll still probably be better than no center channel.
