Fantastic Columbia House deal from "Deals Page"

Hasn't happened to me, but that isn't even as good a deal as the one they offer blind to new members, not to mention nowhere as good as the "cvx" deal.

Don't email them. Call the 800 #. I think the option to talk to a CSR is the last option, or if not, just wait without punching any option and it will connect you automatically. I have not received any incorrect titles, but on both of my last two memberships they said they sent titles that they...

Fantastic Columbia House deal from "Deals Page"

Samuel, you can actually get out better than what Rob says. CVX lets you get 5 at $0.49 each including shipping. You can get a 6th for $14.95 including shipping to reduce you requirement to 2 more. You can get a 7th for $9.95 including shipping, but it doesn't reduce your requirement...

Fantastic Columbia House deal from "Deals Page"

You can if you use the "CVX" code and have a previous account number. Otherwise, the deals aren't quite as good. The price of admission is higher, but once you've completed a membership you can dig into the best deals when you return.

Fantastic Columbia House deal from "Deals Page"

Well, Rick, keep that in mind for the future. My total was about $1 more per disc, but I got more expensive ones for the fulfillment. I decided to go with The Good Girl and Moonlight Mile at $21.95 each, but that's about what they cost anyway. I also got Minority Report for $10.98 to get free...

Fantastic Columbia House deal from "Deals Page"

OK Rick, here's the deal. I just placed my completion order and ran into the same problem. I'll tell you how I got around it. I noticed that when you click to change the number of DVDs to count, you can't change the number, but it is highlighted. I typed "2" "Enter" and "recalculate" and it put...

Fantastic Columbia House deal from "Deals Page"

Rick. I'm going by memory, but I seem to remember there being something that lets you change the price of one more selection to regular price. Like I say, as I recall you have to change the price of one more DVD to regular price, and then you can change it to 2 DVDs applying to you commitment...

Fantastic Columbia House deal from "Deals Page"

Rick, first, you probably need to make sure you have selected regular price for as many DVDs as you want to apply to your requirement. If one of the DVDs is on sale for $10.98 or something, it can't apply to your requirement until you select to buy it at regular price. It could also be a...

Fantastic Columbia House deal from "Deals Page"

I have now had two consecutive enrollments where they claim to have sent movies they did not send. On the first one, I sent in the raincheck that came with the shipment and ended up calling them 2 months later to get my movie when they responded saying I had received everything. I just got my...

John, you are talking about the "CVX" code? My experience with the returning member codes is they will send you a bill which you can pay by CC online or send them a check. I started a new membership last week with the CVX code as well and expect my DVDs any day.

Fantastic Columbia House deal from "Deals Page"

Rick, you can actually come out better than that if you work it right. I just signed up on "CVX" and the initial offer is to get 2 DVDs for 40% off with the purchase of one. You can't use the 40% off to fulfill your requirement, but you can get two $30 retail pre-orders for 20$ each to fulfill...

Fantastic Columbia House deal from "Deals Page"

If you have a previous account number that hasn't been used for a special, looks like the best code is "CVX" again. You get 5 for $0.49 each including shipping and you buy one more for $14.95. This reduces your commitment to 2 more at regular price. You can buy one more for $9.95 but it doesn't...

So, what was the last order placed with i=one of the 5 for $25 codes that was actually received? Was it online or by phone and did they ask for a credit card. No version of their website seems to be accepting any of the codes now.
