I'd also like to see more of Pom Klementieff's Mantis. While more of a supporting character when intro'd in Guardians 2, she has grown into an important part of the team, with her unique skills. Her partnership with Drax is both touching and funny.

I felt the same way about Joker (2019). Much too grim and depressing for me to revisit. But Vol. 3 does have some humour throughout and hopeful scenes at the end (Joker had little, if at all).
