Well, I finished last night. Damn good book. At first I wasn't sure how I felt about the ending. Now that it has sunk in for the past 12 hours I've come to the conclusion that the ending is just right. You know what they say, Ka is a wheel... Back later for more comments.
I'm on page 292 and can't stop. I'm still not sure how I feel about SK making himself such a prominent character within his own book. It takes away from the fantasy of it all, at least for me.
Other than that, I'm loving this book! I can't believe I'm finally reading it!

I'm very much looking forward to SoS but disappointed it's only 432 pages long. I was hoping both books 6 and 7 would check in around 800 pages. Oh well. I can't believe we're only a couple of months from actually getting to the Dark Tower! I was beginning to think King would never finish...
Thanks for the update. Too bad SoS is so short. I can't get enough of this series. >>How sad, after this year, LoTR (movies) are done, and the Star Wars Trilogy will be out on DVD, and now the Dark Tower books are finished. I'm officially out of things to look forward to.
