Minnesota has money under the cap, Quincy Carter would make a nice addition, as has the much improved minny defence.

Rumors about Randy Moss being a possible trade to Miami for several D* players and draft picks. Coach Tice says its not that close to a trade? What does that mean? Does he really want to trade Moss. I for one sure hope not. http://www.kstp.com/article/view/130970/

2003-2004 NFL Season (Playoffs and coaching moves)

Why all these comments about the Vikings payroll? McCombs had the 4th largest NFL payroll this year at just over $81 mil. Not a position Viking fans are familiar with. He had a huge vested interest in the team’s success. Just not in the coach's payroll.

Tice will be keeping his job. Red just had a conference phone call with the local reporters. At this time I'm not sure what to think? I like Tice as a person, I just think he needs some help being a head coach.

2003-2004 NFL Season (Playoffs and coaching moves)

The 2003 Minnesota Vikings are the only team in nfl history to hold the division lead all season only to lose it the last play of the season, let alone 4th down & 3 seconds on the clock at the snap. *hit I'm still feeling ill :frowning: For what ever reasons, personal likes or dislikes of the...

2003-2004 NFL Season (Playoffs and coaching moves)

I am totally sick. Minnesota,You have done it to me again. Can you believe on the last play of the game they lost the Division, the playoffs, the whole season. Now what does Tice have to say about the first drive first & goal inside the five and he takes a chance at forth & goal instead of...

2003-2004 NFL Season (Playoffs and coaching moves)

As a life long Viking fan, another season is about to end & I again find myself hoping that the Packers win this division and make a respectable showing in the playoffs for the division. This is very hard for me as many family members live 100 mile east of me in cheese country. My beloved team...

You got to love the loss of the announcers microphones during the 4th of the KC-Denver game, All the on field mic's continued to work, it would be nice to shut those guys up when ever we wanted & still hear the stadium sounds as they are now. :)

Denver stay's alive in real fashion. KC needs to watch out that this Denver team just may be back, and could easily end the KC season during playoff time.

2003-2004 NFL Season (Playoffs and coaching moves)

Minnesota continues its meltdown in glorious fashion. How much was that new Daunte contract for again, $110Mil :frowning: Yes he can move the ball & put up big numbers, but in these past four games he has also put up some big numbers in the wrong columns. And that D* where did they go? did...

2003-2004 NFL Season (Playoffs and coaching moves)

Its official, the Vikings are again in their annual fan let-down slide. A total melt down! Year after year they have me pulling out my hair. Like last week playing GB, why would Tice not go for it late in the game with 4th-1? Granted Tice did not loose the game, he only failed to make the...

2003-2004 NFL Season (Playoffs and coaching moves)

McCombs has the right to speak to his team as he wishes. I'm a life long Vikings fan also. But keep in mind McCombs has the 4th largest NFL payroll this year at just over $81 mil. Not a position Viking fans are familiar with. So I understand that he has a huge vested interest in the team’s...

That was a hell of a come back game. Way to go Colts, This comeback makes my Vikings second half regrouping of out scoring the dirty birds by a 27-6 margin look like kids play. Hats off to REVENG! I'm so glad the Colts did this. It was just a few years ago when SAPP said the Vikings D* was...

2003-2004 NFL Season (Playoffs and coaching moves)

CBSsports line has a interesting poll Which unbeaten will be the last to lose? Are the Vikings for real? As a long time Viking fan I say yes, but I have been heart broken many of times over my 42+ years living here in Minnesota. I look at it this way, Football is entertaining, and for the...
