I figured today was the ideal time to get the booster- I have off the whole holiday weekend (😁), and will have recovery time from possible side effects. I felt fatigue for a day or two when I got my J&J shot 6 months ago.
Getting a Moderna booster now. I was told it should still be OK to go along with the J&J shot 6 months ago, but they recommend to use the same make of shot.
I was told that the Mets and/or Yankees are giving fans COVID testing and vaccinations at the ballparks. I believe the baseball teams are allowed to have full capacity attendance starting tomorrow, so these steps make sense. Make the shots more convenient and accessible, and a few more people...
Good news is the fatigue is gone today
(drove my normal 544 miles without issue), but I still have a bit of a headache. No arm soreness.
I wanted to get the shot on a Saturday to give myself a day of recovery before going back to work, and it was definitely the right decision.
After getting the J&J shot yesterday, I feel a little off this morning- I guess fatigue is the best way to describe it. Not feverish, not really a headache, and my arm doesn’t feel bad.
I just put my name in to get my first shot. I don’t know if this is going to work out though- my job will likely get in the way. I asked for a Sunday appointment.
