My specific freight is not shipping to the customer, due to the work stoppage. For the sake of thousands of non-union people that work at the feeder plants, I wish only the best, and a very short disruption in work and pay.

Yes I enjoy reading about when homeowners/proprietors stand up to crime also. Article seems to indicate the suspects were not seriously injured, so hopefully no charges will be filed against the stick wielding guy, and hopefully he won’t lose his job over this.

I got home this morning, and have the whole holiday weekend off. I also just got a COVID booster shot, and am celebrating at DeSha’s- my favorite restaurant/bar. Feels good to have all the pressure off.

I’m very pleased right now- after a brutal week on the road, where everything was trying my patience, I’m parked for the night, and driving only 151 miles in the morning to get home. I think I might have lunch and a few pops at my favorite restaurant to forget this week. 😁
