Glad I never have gotten involved in any
“social media” sites/entities- depending on your occupation, and what you put on those sites, you can easily find yourself in trouble, no matter how harmless you think your statement is.
Yes I heard this on Eddie Trunk’s show on the Faction Talk channel yesterday. He lives near the stadium, and he’s heard that the better seats are going for considerably more money. More power to those that have a disposable income that high, I guess. I wouldn’t shell out this kind of money for a...
I had a delivery appointment near Atlanta at 6:00 this morning. Due to a long delay for getting loaded yesterday, I couldn’t make it. I told my dispatcher that the appointment needs to be rescheduled. This was 6-1/2 hours ago. The customer hasn’t gotten back with an answer about when I should...
Anything tech. I am having a bunch of trouble with getting my yahoo mail on my new phone. No matter what I try, I can’t log in. Another thing is my Amazon music app- I can’t get the audio to Bluetooth into the company truck’s radio. Unfortunately I have zero patience for this stuff.
Yes this is baffling, but I do agree with you that he did the right thing by putting the cart in the stall, so vehicles can’t be scratched/
damaged by loose carts.
I have been extremely lucky on this topic- never have had any bad/annoying experiences at a theater with rude people.
I haven’t been to the cinema in 4 years- my schedule doesn’t permit me to do this any longer.
What really baffles me, and discourages me is the seemingly increasing number of people that are ugly to each other. I delivered to a customer this morning that I have been to several times. I would open the trailer doors, and let 2 guys pull the freight off, no problem. This morning, there were...
Perhaps the biggest reason why physical media is essential for film/TV fans. It is completely worthless to watch something like Pulp Fiction or GoodFellas on a network that does censor its programming.
I saw a few interstate message signs in Ohio today- “Groundhogs can’t predict DUI costs. Drive sober.”
Has Groundhog Day become a drinking day for some?
Me too, and I have never seen one, thank goodness. About 20 years ago, there was a twister that hit not too far away from where I live now. There was a pretty house that was perched on a nice plateau of land, and the storm reduced it to kindling. Odd that the chimney of the house got through...
My local Kroger never has the 15 or less register open any longer- it’s either regular check out lanes, or self scan. I don’t mind waiting, because I intensely dislike self-scan.
My first answer is the kill switches could then become defective, leading to problems for law abiding citizens who drive. The more crap in/on vehicles, the more problems they’re likely to be.
Another reason that we don’t have this is liability on the auto manufacturer’s part- if they were to...
I didn’t have any of last night’s numbers on any of my 3 tickets. No word yet about how many winning tickets were sold, at least from the website or the news outlet I follow.
Yes I have the same mega ball on 2 of my 3 tickets (that’s all I’m buying). Very common for me to have the same numbers spread across multiple tickets, whether I buy them at 1 location, or multiple locations.
Eddie Trunk is a fan of this band (even though Paul is definitely not a fan of his), and Eddie says Alive was massaged in the studio to make it sound better.
My local grocery store (Kroger) doesn’t use the “20 items or fewer” check out lane any longer- it’s either big orders, or self-scan.
I despise self-scan to the point where I’ll wait in line 30 minutes before using it that has no wait.
Yes the Milli Vanilli issue- they had Grammy awards taken from them, and I think the one album they made is no longer in print because they got imposters to sing. I doubt they would even be punished or shamed today.
