Freddy VS Jason has more picture info in fullscreen than Widescreen!
In the opinion of many directors and others in the industry (some of which have posted on the HTF about this very subject), this is patently false. A director/cinematographer may "protect" for 4:3, but almost never compromise the OAR version to improve the MAR version. This has been discussed...- Jeff Gatie
