yeah it's definitely better, but at the same time, i think it 'jumped the whale' for most of episodes of this season already. it's been so bad, it's pretty much irredeemable and can't be repaired even with a handful of good eps now. i'm just talking about the season itself. maybe season4 will be...
this season has really pummeled this series into somn that is not watchable. =P. nothing they do can really rescue this season from itself (as a standalone season). i sure won't be buying this season on BD.
i didn't think monday's ep was any better than any of the season4 eps so far. certainly not as good as s1 episodes. while things happened very fast in s1, it did so logically. s2 was a bit faster... but still manageable. s3 went berserk in the first half and even right now there is no signs...
the drawing power is still just as annoying as hiro's power. whenever u use the plot element of a future that is revealed and our heroes are left with a choice as to let it happen the way it is or change it themselves, that is pretty stupid. i think even mama petrelli has the same power.
any1 know when the 'reboot' episode(s) are coming? i am still a fan of this due to my comic-bookishness but am kind of getting tired of the overt soap opera nature.
didn't they do a multiyear deal with heroes like desperate housewives? the only way heroes can get back on its horse is to slow it down a bit and tell character stories instead of whiz-bang stuff.
when the actors are reading this season's scripts... do they even stop and question the writers: "wtf u thinking"? first, he continued being the badass. then, he turned good by mama petrelli. then bad when he killed the guy at the bank. then good by papa petrelli... now bad by elle? that's...
i sense another 'reboot' of sorts coming. heroes is turning out to be much closer to its comic book origins than we realize with multiple confusing reboots and a rush through many storylines but without the pause that makes many of the comics great.
can the haitian be killed? =P if he's dead that plot device gets thrown out window . i'm disliking how the writers are using the haitian device as a crutch.
joe, here in boston, 'Comic-Con' runs twice a year, spring and fall, and it's PURELY comics ONLY! lol, there's no TV/movie anything. isn't that nuts ;). one of the reasons i luv it :D
to be fair, BSG did loose some of its fire from s2-s4 right now except for season premieres and finales. the middle parts just drag, not like s1. and that's with ron moore in the helm.
it's almost magic/voodoo for a series to keep running on full blast for the entire run of its series...
sorry for joining in late, but i've just been catching up on the latest eps and i just don't think s3 is as good as s1&2. i mean it's still fairly entertaining to the comic-book geek inside of me... just not as high quality as the first 2 seasons.
