I'm always curious if the original idea-voodoo controlling the shark-would have made this any better. Probably not, granted, but maybe something from an epic fail to an interesting failure.
For some reason, the Jaws 3 stuff still weirds me out. It's fake as hell, but I can't focus on that picture. Maybe it's because Jaws 3 is the first one in the series I saw.
I did watch the sequels when they arrived on Blu Ray this summer. It had been a while since I saw all three, so it was nice to revisit them.
Since we're talking Jaws 2...it has the same problem any sequel has, no matter how good. The movie has the unenviable job of adding to what was never...
I always had a vague idea the sharks were connected in some way, though it's never specified in the movies, IIRC. Never read the book, so that info must have gotten to me from somewhere else.
So if the sharks in 1 and 2 are mates...then the baby in 3 is their baby...and the second one in 3 is...
