Managed to catch up most of my TV from last week (The 100 is still outstanding) and we watched a few episodes of Next Gen. Last night was a theater screening of Xanadu.
Really quiet weekend for me.
I'm not quite sure what's on our docket this weekend...we have some friends coming over tomorrow night, so there won't be a movie.
But I did just buy tickets for Xanadu at SIFF on Sunday night. It'll be the first time I'm seeing the movie.
Started with an episode of Justice League this morning and followed with this week's Modern Family. Headed to the theater for Muppets Most Wanted, came home and camped on the couch for: Arrow, Cosmos and the first two episodes of The 100. I know I'll throw something on tonight, though I don't...
Finally tally for the weekend:
Necessary Evil
Bad Words
Cleopatra: The Film That Changed Hollywood
The Ghost and Mrs. Muir
The Times of Harvey Milk
Arrow (TV)
Parks and Rec (TV)
Justice League (4 episodes)
Necessary Evil:Villians of DC Comics from Netflix, TV from this week (Parks and Rec, Arrow, Big Bang) and hopefully one or two other movies. Preferably something from the stack of stuff I've bought in the last few weeks and haven't watched yet...
Grand Budapest Hotel yesterday, Snow White and the Huntsman today. Listened to the last Trek commentary I had left (Unification). Last week's Cosmos, Big Bang Theory and Parks and Rec.
And about 12 hours of Lego Batman...went to bed at 3:30 Sunday morning.
I think we found a screening of The Grand Budapest Hotel in the area...so we're doing that tomorrow. I've also got Mysterious Skin coming from Netflix. Chances are I'm going to make a run to the end of Enterprise S2 this weekend, too (8 episodes, plus any extras on those discs). Need to catch...
We did Non Stop in the theater today and I've been on an Enterprise S2 kick lately. Spent a lot of time with the series last night and this afternoon. I'm also catching up on regular TV (Arrow, Big Bang, Amazing Race, Modern Family). Tomorrow is The Greatest Movie Ever Sold and hopefully...
Final tally for the weekend:
12 episodes of Enterprise (Season 3: Harbiner to Zero Hour; Season 2: Shockwave II) and accompanying commentaries
The Jungle Book
Page One: Inside the New York Times
About Last Night (2014)
Robocop (2014)
I'm not sure what we'll be seeing in the theater tomorrow (Robocop, maybe?) but I plan on spending a lot of time with Enterprise Season 3. About halfway done with the season right now. I'm also going to try to watch The Jungle Book.
And one Netflix movie: Page One: Inside the New York Times.
Final tally for the weekend:
Justice League: War
Justice League Adventures: Trapped in Time
Arrow
Shield
Modern Family
The Lego Movie
Making the Boys
3 episodes of Enterprise (plus four commentaries)
Making of The Boys, JLA Adventures: Trapped in Time, JL: War and The Lego Movie for sure. I'm hoping to squeeze something in on Sunday, but a nap usually sounds a whole lot better.
I'm going to try to wrap up Simpsons Season...whatever one I'm working on. And maybe start Enterprise S3, but I need to clean and pack before going to Vegas next week.
August: Osage County is on the schedule for Saturday morning, too.
Aside from yesterday's second viewing of Saving Mr. Banks in the theater, I've been working on The Simpsons: Season 15. Made it through the first two discs (15 episodes) over the last two days. There's been other current TV stuff (Shield, Arrow, etc.) from before the Christmas hiatus.
I'm...
We started watching Veronica Mars Season 3 tonight. North by Northwest is sitting on the table for tomorrow...but that's probably going to be it. The run up to Christmas (and travel) is brutal!
Aside from Hobbit tomorrow morning, I don't know if I'll be watching anything. Between finishing shopping, having company tomorrow night and getting an order for 2 hats/2 scarves AND leaving for vacation on Thursday, it might be a very slim pickings weekend.
I'm aiming for my third movie in three days tonight (The Guilt Trip via Netflix) and then Out of the Furnace on Saturday. I really want to get to either Desk Set or Ghost and Mrs. Muir this weekend, too. I need to finish my Christmas shopping, so that may not happen. I'll for sure get caught...
I've successfully caught up on all my TV shows in the last two days: How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Amazing Race, Shield, Sleepy Hollow. Managed to see Frozen yesterday and 12 Years a Slave today. Planning on Dallas Buyers Club tomorrow. And I'm trying to make it through The Little...
Hunger Games is for sure on the schedule for tomorrow. I'd like to think I'll get to other stuff this weekend (watched In This Our Life with Bette Davis last night), but I really don't know. There's a Christmas tree to put up, a desk to install, a kitchen table to move...and then normal...
We have a fairly unconventional relationship and I'll be "single" again starting on Sunday through Christmas. We generally don't argue over what to watch...we like most of the same things. And Jim, bless his heart, deals with a lot of crappy movies that make their way into the queue for one...
Ended up this weekend with: Thor 2, Rear Window, Mickey's Christmas Carol, Winnie the Pooh Christmas, 2 episodes of Arrow, 1 episode of Next Gen. I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving weekend: four days all alone and I can watch whatever I want, when I want, and not worry about work. :D
We're for sure doing Rear Window tonight and a movie TBD at the theater tomorrow. I want Thor 2, but we'll see. I expect a lot more stuff, but I won't commit to anything yet.
The final tally was:
All is Lost (Saturday)
Five episodes of Next Gen (all weekend)
A really old episode of Frontline
Who Framed Roger Rabbit last night
Man, it sure felt like we watched more than that...
