I think these scenes work fine where they are, and taking the Flowers scene into account as well. The Garrett storyline had to be wrapped prior to everything else that happened. Going back and forth would have been confusing and it doesn't serve to set anything up going forward. It's the final...
When I saw his hand clawing up onto the table, I was like "Oh hell no." There is no way Coulson and the team are dumb enough to let Garrett hang out by himself, no matter how hurt he was.
Then the gun came out and ... POW! It was yet another piece of humor is a dramatic, tension-filled and...
Oh, I don't think he has any feelings for her. And after last night, she doesn't have anything but fear for him. She knows what he's done and exactly why he "wants" her. The last convo in the cockpit of the bus cemeted that in my mind. When she said "you need me to decrypt the harddrive" (or...
I think he's gotten there at this point. He's directly lied to his superiors, killed people in cold blood and plotted against his team. The last thing for him to do on that road to unredeemablity is to kill a regular character...make it really hurt. Maybe Hand is the closest we get to that...
I haven't seen last night's ep yet, but Coulson holding a grudge and being ticked off makes sense.
For one, she's supposedly reporting to Fury...the same guy that lied to Coulson about Tahiti. Second, Coulson thought he could trust May...then it feels like she's betraying him by "snooping."...
She got yelled at. :) I get the feeling this is supposed to be a major reveal and for an actor to give it away is going to incur some wrath from her bosses.
That means if I can get ABC via the antennae in my TV, then it's relatively easy to watch live TV (I only get ABC and CBS). If there's a storm or other problem, I get no channels.
All the TV I watch I get through either Hulu or a network website.
That's Tuesday night. Everyone got out of the way of the Olympics this year. It might not have been a good idea in hindsight, but no one really could be confident the ratings in Sochi would be down.
^ Based on the end of the last episode, I would hope so. IIRC, Coulson was taken prisoner and the last thing mentioned in the episode was something to the effect of "what happened in Tahiti?"
Color me shocked with the Ward/May scene. Didn't see that coming.
I almost feel like this was a "budget" episode. Not a huge supporting cast, most of the action takes place on existing sets, that kind of thing. Fairly effective, though I had to think it would have played better at Halloween...
