    Netflix goes bat@#%@ insane, it's $16 a month now if you want to keep 1 DVD + streaming, $18 for 1 B

This isn't a new development and certainly isn't only with Netflix. I bought a rental copies of the new Nightmare on Elm Street and Despicable Me at Blockbuster at least a year ago, if not more. They both very prominently say "Rental" on the front cover and contain very little in the way of...

I've heard a couple things like that about PBS in the past. I guess I'm very fortunate that one of our PBS stations shows movies uncut and in what looks to be OAR. I just watched Bullitt over the weekend, in fact.

That stinks, Ron. I didn't realize you were going to get caught up in all that. We're all going to whine about not getting Netflix movies over a weekend, but this is your job. Kinda makes the other whining insignificant, when you think about it.

If that's the case, then no problem. I just had a different reading of it.

I won't disagree with most of this, but saying the complaining needs to stop is ridiculous. If consumers didn't complain, Qwikster would still be around. If consumers didn't complain, Bank of America would not have walked back their plan to charge monthly debit card fees. Sometimes it works...

Seems like they keep trying to figure out ways of ticking customers off...and then implementing them. There should be one site for all the movies. One site to choose DVD or Blu-ray or streaming. You shouldn't have to go to two places for the same thing. Why is this so incredibly hard for...

    Netflix goes bat@#%@ insane, it's $16 a month now if you want to keep 1 DVD + streaming, $18 for 1 B

And that's exactly my problem with the push to streaming: a very small percentage of the stuff I want to watch is actually available to stream. Yes, it is more convenient and quicker and the like...but if I'm stuck watching Sharktopus vs. Megasaur or other similar titles, it's not worth it. I...

Let's see...right now, I'm at $11.99 for unlimited streaming and unlimited DVD/BD's. My new price is going to be $17.98. I don't stream nearly enough, so that's going to go. This whole thing reminds me of our recent office move: parking had been free for the life of the company, but in...
