Thanks all. SCSI is not an option really, my home computer doesn't make me $$$ it only costs me $$$. ;) The 5400rpm drive has a partiton because the second partition was used as a capture drive before the additional HD was installed. It takes a lot less time to defrag a partitioned drive...
