I think you misheard the battle in question. What I remember is he did this after the Battle of Earth, which is what they're calling the big battle from the end of Endgame.

I think it is going to be the first situation in your spoiler tag. I doubt very much there would be this much press attention (interviews, etc. which I've linked in this thread) if the show is just going to undo it next week. I know there's more to come and things could always change in a show...

I didn't watch Game of Thrones so I have only seen her in Solo (meh) and Me Before You (one of the worst and most deeply offensive movies ever made.) So I've never seen her in anything that I think is good. Maybe Marvel can turn my opinion of her around.
