A purely "comfort food" movie wouldn't have ended the way that Toy Story 4 did. That movie didn't do anything the easy way for either the characters or the audience, which is one of the things I love about it.

I absolutely agree that he needs to be remembered, but I wouldn't mind at all if he got his own distinct separate segment and everyone else was in the original (hypothetically) locked one. Giving him his own would put more of a focus on him than if he's just in there with everyone else.
