It's not terribly important to have seen the movie. It sets up the characters and moves them into place, but I don't remember a bit of it and didn't have a problem with the first episode.

I thought the TV movie sucked, so that's not good news. I'll give it a try, but I'm skeptical. Sept. 24. It's now close enough that I can set up a recording on my DVR.

Sounds good. I wasn't too thrilled by the movie, but I'll give this guy's revamp a chance.
