Personally I think Apollo 13 set a realism bar for zero gravity that in some ways, Gravity really didn't quite reach. I think it would have been nice if they could have shot some scenes for Gravity on the Vomit Comet like A13 did. Also, should Gravity be considered "Science Fiction"? I'm not...

Note that Tyson says he enjoyed Gravity. It's Gawker saying that Tyson says the movie is crap, not Tyson himself. I don't think pointing stuff like this out (either by him or by Phil Plait) makes him a killjoy.

Going to have to try to convince my usual movie going group to see this in 3D. We usually avoid it but this seems like this will make excellent use of the format.
