    My fault... I shouldn't have used that quote, although indirectly my point was made... it was not the anamorphisizing of the R4 DVD that made it bad... but rather the other factors that Robert mentions and my review visually shows... My real point; just making a DVD anamorphic does not imbue...

    No offense David, But… You are not really giving us any news... couldn't any widescreen DVD that is non-anamorphic benefit if having had the equipment been available to render it to 16x9 form? :) All I proved was that Vertigo was made anamorphic and is not better.. there are many factors...
