Christmas Treats

The first season was all CBS/Paramount released. I agree the majority of the blackout segments were silly, if not dreadful, but it was a clever idea to transition between stories. Gary "the holiday episode was released as a stand-alone in a CBS/Paramount 'Christmas' DVD several years back" O.

There was a short "Blackout" moment in a Season 1 episode that was Christmas-themed. But again, only one of the blackouts that lasted seconds. Can't remember which episode it appeared in though. Gary "prepping for Thanksgiving episodes next week" O.

Josh already mentioned The Honeymooners episode. I also recall a New Year’s Eve episode from The Lucy Show. There’s also a Peanuts New Year’s Eve special that we watch here most every year. I imagine there are others that are escaping my memory at the moment.
