I was at Wal-Mart this morning, and they had a giant display of them (200+), but no variant DVD cover. I really wonder if the variant refers to the comic cover inside, and not the DVD cover. But then again, no one seems to know what this is all about. This is a poor promotion to mention...

Good to see I am not the only one confused by this "limited edition". I have not seen listings for any variant cover for the DVD on any auction sites, but it makes me think the variant cover may refer to the comic book inside.
