Good one Hagster. :) BTW, I'm out 300 bucks. Just bought a Star Destroyer. Anybody know a good website to host pictures? I think I'll do a day by day assembling with progression photos.
To seperate flat pieces is a power only one has achieved, but if we work together, I know we can discover the secret. Lame attempt at humour, but damn those flat pieces. :D I can't wait for the DVD.
Guys, I think a good idea would be a retrospective on all six films and how they fit into the whole saga. Or at least that's what I plan on doing in a little while. Sort of like what Tim did pre ROTS. :)
Droids got to work too, you know. :) It bothers me a little, but it doesn't detract from the experience. But I've been saying that for a lot of things. And yes, the lightsabers are pointy, most notably during the scene where Anakin pulls out his saber on Palpatine and when Mace has...
And my favorite cue of the "Four Fates" sequence is the violin during Darth Vader's stride to the window to see the construction of the Death Star. I hate that it's missing from the soundtrack.
The biggest applause in our neck of the woods came when Yoda hops on Chewie's back. And I'll be watching Episode III on the same shitty TV I've watched all my movies on. Damn, wish I had money.
Had my third viewing this past Thursday. The DLP presentation was excellent. Anywho, I don't know why it never struck me until that third viewing, but Ewan McGregor sounded very British, particularly when he returns on the Boga after having fought Grievous. "We've got a battle to win."...
Why am I thinking Family Guy all of a sudden? :) My third viewing (thankfully I finally have tickets) will be a DLP showing. I think we've had a pretty good discussion here fellas. A few head scratching comments from time to time, but that's expected.
Well that, and there's that whole thing where Padme dies in childbirth. Like his dreams of his mother, I think he's been having dreams of Padme dying in childbirth for a while.
I thought he said Darth on that one? Can somebody check? :)
If I had to use an analogy, Lucas is like a farmer. He plants the seeds, waters the farm, and nutures the crop, but it's up to the vegetables to grow themselves (e.g. plant cell division, etc etc)
I'm not too bothered by Midichlorians. They're symbiotic organisms that help attune one to the Force, it's not the Force itself. But I can see why it bothers some people, given it takes away some of the mysticism.
Very EU, but Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is very good at explaining...
I'm going to be in the minority on this one. The only thing I find cute about the Ewoks is the way they look. Otherwise, the Ewoks strike me as a bunch of savage sons of a bitches. I don't find anything cute or remotely tame about stone axes, arrows, catapults, trip vines, or spears. Care Bear...
