I watched the Special Edition cut on my Toshiba 50h82 using a Panasonic CP72 progressive DVD player and I did not see hardly any artifacts at all. There were a couple of scenes that were noticeable, but nothing that took me out of the film. I thought the film looked pretty damn good, not better...
