Once again CBS misses a marketing "hook" by not promoting the fact that these episodes have not been seen widely since their original network airing. *face-palm* doesn't anyone to research over there.
The 130 episode package was created simple so TV stations could get two cycles a year running one episode M-F. The balance of Season 7 and al of Season 8 were left out simply because they didn't fit - not due to any higher royalties.
CBS Television Syndication just continues to offer this same...
I wonder when season 7 and Season 8 comes out they will make a big deal that most of the shows (part of 7 and all of 8) have not been syndicated nor seen in decades! :)
Perhaps she made an apperance on MIKE DOUGLAS? Those shows are now owned/co-owned by CBS via their purchase of "Group W" years ago. Most of them exist! (If not all!)
While I'm eager to see a DVD release of Season One of MANNIX, I'm also eager to see the episodes from late season 7 and all of season 8 that wern't widely syndicated.
