Did y'all see the new Echo lineup that was announced recently? I'm trying to decide what I think. The Spot looks interesting and the upgraded sound on the Echo and the improvement of the Echo Plus could be nice, but I don't really have room for or need another one since I bought Dots.

Scott, Here is a picture of the top of the speaker. There is an amber light on the power button and a blue light on the play button that indicates a connection. They stay on pretty much all the time the way I'm using it, but they are so small and seem to shine pretty much straight up. Hope...

Ron, you've been bad for my wallet, but good for my Christmas shopping. I ordered three Dots+TP Link plugs after reading your posts. I also ended up with an Anker speaker. I missed out on the one you posted for $27, but I got the Anker Premium for $39 today in a flash sale.
