Scott, I kept the 1014 and sold the H/K, because the 1014 sounded better to my ears. The 1014 is a steal (when it works). Stephen, J & R's return policy is 14 days. I bought this six weeks ago. It's Pioneer's problem now. The service center was closed today, so i'm taking it in tomorrow.

Purchased from J & R, authorized dealer under warranty. I sold my AVR-230, and kept this thing. And, it breaks on me. What a joke. I want my H/K back...

My 1014 died today (not even two months old). It was fine last night. I have no clue what happened, but the red MCACC light is blinking. And, it won't turn on. Truly bizarre...
