I don't care if the renewed Discovery for 200 season, it's the weakest most poorly written of any of the trek series, well I take that back Picard is worst
The story thread this season was only what was necessary to do a minimal reboot of the series to erase the mistake of making it a prequel, none of it went anywhere and the treat was so anti climatic, if you take away pike, Spock, and the Enterprise you are left with very little. Not sure how...
yeah too much frentic Phew Phew and not enough substance, why didnt the beam out Cornwell since they beamed out spock, Leland and control, worst plot drivers ever. So a few crewmates agree to give up their lives and go with Burnham, and they kidnap the rest of the crew to go along. Saru's people...
There was too many tearful goodbyes cripes I thought pike was gonna cry and burnham hasn’t earned it yet. Spock didn’t get that much melodrama and he did earn it. I had a problem with not being able to destroy the ship. Unless control was able change the nature of the shields why not bombard it...
Yeah it was filmed well, but i did'nt think too much of it, now i here we might see this character again, i guess, but to me too much time was spent on something that in the end really did'nt matter, maybe this event that happened to the crew ill somehow retconn the entire series into never...
yeah that was well done, i agree on the disguising of Klingon's as humans, I bought it on TOS where the klingon's were'nt much different than humans, I might even buy it on TNG, but here they are too radically different for that to happen. I'd rather a reprogramming of Tyler with Voq's engrams...
Ok well that was a big stretch of believability, that they would do all that to fit in. Also they are following it seems the Terrence empire stuff from DS9, but those events the rebels etc happened because Spock too kirks advice in Mirror Mirror and that hasn’t happened yet
I just wrote a thread on this why not all access as a home foe all seasons of Beverly hillbillies or petticoat junction? Where’s Mannix, or Rawhide or the fugitive, streets of San Francisco or Dan August ? Why not have this content here ?
I'm pretty ambivelent to it after the two episodes, and agree it was a shaky setup for a mutiny storyline, she's being setup as an ENsign Ro type character I guess. Like the movies I'm not thrilled with the changes, I don't like adding Darkness for the sake of making it Dark, that's not Trek...
If CBS All access had all series available for streaming like Have Gun Will Travel, Gunsmoke, Streets of San Fran , etc etc and even shows like Beverly Hillbillies and Petticoat that are not available on DVD in their entirety I'd shell out the $6 a month, but with their paltry selection it just...
