Ben:
Thanks for posting the list. I would love to see Warner Home Entertainment release all of theses episodes in a single set rather than piecemeal releases.
IIRC, the previous Flintstones complete series and third season DVD releases had an issue where the third season episode "The Big Move" was missing 2 to 3 minutes of footage. I'm guessing that this did not corrected on the recent complete series re-release.
Perhaps Warner Brother could see fit to release the following in their Diamond Collection:
The following 8 “missing” Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! episodes comprised Season 2 of The Scooby-Doo Show in 1977 as segments on Scooby's All-Star Laff-A-Lympics:
The Curse of Viking Lake
Vampire Bats...
While I know that some of them have been individually released on various compilations, I still would like to see the following 8 “missing” episodes of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! (the 8 episodes comprised Season 2 of The Scooby-Doo Show in 1977 as segments on Scooby's All-Star Laff-A-Lympics)...

A first day purchase for me for sure!
Considering the first season had 16 episodes, I'm curious how they will configure...
Sarah:
Thanks for the quick review on the Specials Collection. Are they on pressed or burned discs?
That is very cool that you are introducing your nephew to the HB cartoons.
Darby
Any idea on whether these will be released on pressed or burned discs? I'm definitely interested in purchasing these but would prefer pressed discs.
Darby
I can certainly empathize with you, derosa, on this one; it is very frustrating. At the very least they need to release (preferably in one collection):
The following 8 “missing” Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! episodes comprised Season 2 of The Scooby-Doo Show in 1977 as segments on Scooby's...

Randy, I completely agree with how quirky WHV's marketing strategy is. I would love to see the missing episodes released as one set, but WHV instead doles them out very gradually via low-cost compilation sets and they don't mind double-dipping either. If WA ever did get control, I just hope...
Here is the release info for Scooby-Doo and the Vampires: http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/Whats-New-Scooby-Doo-Scooby-Doo-and-the-Vampires/19128
Vampire Bats and Scaredy Cats (one of the famous "missing 8" episodes of classic Scooby-Doo) is on it. I just wish they would release all 8 of them...
Sarah: Here they are: The following 8 “missing” Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! episodes comprised Season 2 of The Scooby-Doo Show in 1977 as segments on Scooby's All-Star Laff-A-Lympics: • The Curse of Viking Lake • Vampire Bats and Scaredy Cats • Hang in There, Scooby-Doo • The Chiller Diller Movie...
Matt: It sounds logical and hopefully this is, in fact, what WHV is thinking. I would love to see the following released as a single DVD release rather than spread out piecemeal in various themed releases: The following 8 “missing” Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! episodes comprised Season 2 of The...
Matt: It sounds like a reasonable theory; I hope it comes to fruition as I am dying to have a complete set of classic Scooby-Doo in my collection (I already own Scooby-Doo Where Are You? The Complete First and Second Seasons, Scooby-Doo Where Are You? The Complete Third Season, and The...
I do something similar with my kids. My sons are big fans of Ben-10 and Star Wars: The Clone Wars so we watch those shows on Saturday mornings on Cartoon Network followed by a sampling of my favorite childhood cartoons and live-actions shows on DVD. I've turned them on to Return to the Planet of...
I bit the bullet with the Warner Archive 25% off sale and purchased Sealab 2020, Valley of the Dinosaurs, and Shazzan on Monday. I still have several more cartoons on my Warner Archive wish list, but those three were among my top favorites. I can't wait to start reliving some Saturday morning...
