I received an email this morning from Amazon. It seems that the blu-ray of "Land of The Pharaohs" will be postponed to July 18th, 2023.

When released in the 50's, it included a sumptuous Technicolor. I am very happy this movie will be available soon :banana:

I just hope that many Arthur Freed's musicals will be released next year. Another one including a beautiful Technicolor "Lovely To Look at" (M-G-M, 1952) is on my wish list.

M-G-M released a third movie pairing again Taylor and Thorpe, Quentin Durward (M-G-M, 1955)

She was also very good in "A Place in the Sun" starring Liz Taylor and Montgomery Clift.

I wonder if "Party Girl" has a stereophonic track. I own the DVD but it only includes a mono one ...

Great titles but unfortunately not a single M-G-M musical coming in November. I can't say "Party Girl" is a musical although Cyd Charisse is in the movie. Never mind, "National Velvet" and "Party Girl" are the only titles I will order.
