I had a similar thing a few weeks back Steve, I did a presentation on 'Alfred Hitchcock Presents' and why it should not be under estimated in his body of work. I really enjoyed it! I'm currently writing an essay that defends his British period, The Lady Vanishes in particular and how it more...
500 pages!? That's just plain crazy.
Thanks for the 500 pages of entertainment droogs...
Now, I better get back to that revision... stop distracting me!
Hellllllllo Kathy!
Nice purchase there Ron, you must be one of the first in the world to own one of them.
I'll be sticking with me ol' standard DVDs for a good few years like Steve though.
"What a suitable ending, I think..."
Great list there Steve :emoji_thumbsup:
Haven't posted in ol' Testy for a while now, thought I'd give you all a visit ;)
I've been writing an essay on shocking cinema, we watched I Spit On Your Grave the other day in class and it was the cut-up BBFC version -- today we've been watching a pan...
Woah, wait-a-minute... I've been called a football hooligan and now I've been told I look like I've been smoking pot
I think Steve is being very wise by not posting his picture :D
Okay, instead of trying to pass myself off as James Dean, I'll post my picture... and five other random people -- I'll leave it to my fellow droogs to pull a Sherlock Holmes and guess which one is me :D

Yes Haggai but the copy of it that I saw was on a very grainy VHS in Film Studies ages ago, so I should probably track down a decent DVD & give the film a second chance... or I'll just watch Face/Off again :D :emoji_thumbsup:
Do my eyes deceive me or do I see a new High Definition section?

Much needed I think, it will be nice to separate the SD-DVD and HD-DVD releases :)
Cheers Steve, much appreciated, I'm to young to die!
I think I got over excited at some new SD-DVD news, it seems to have been quiet on that front for a while now.
Oooooo, ahhhhhhh, lot's of nice looking DVDs...

Edited due to complaints by Sir Steve of Lancelot. :)
Merry Christmas everyone, hope you all have a happy ho ho :)
I ain't been to see the new Kong yet, I'm hoping to go & see it in the new year with the girlfriend ;)
Yep Steve, I saw it with my own seven eyes ( ), three DVDs on one hub like the DVD equivalent of a Big Mac, I've been looking around this here interweb for the last couple of hours trying to find if Amaray make a normal sized DVD case that houses three DVDs, that way I can shift the...
I got a sneak peak at the new R2 The Frighteners SE this evening, all looks well & good except for one HIGHLY annoying feature, the three discs are not housed individually, instead they're put ON TOP of one another on the SAME hub! Bastards
I never knew either Elijah until I saw a screen capture of the sequence from the new Peter Jackson version, I wouldn't look at it unless you've already seen the new film as it looks to be a very moving scene...
