Update: nope. This is a terrible movie. But the Blu-ray looks and sounds great! A few small specks become the only complaint I have, as most of the flick offers terrific visuals...

Yeah, I looked on IMDB and that's what I saw. Zero reason to believe the song won't be there on the BD! :)

Why wouldn't the song be on this Blu-ray?

Based on my circa 2003 review, I liked "Dragonslayer" a lot more than I liked "Popeye"! Matthew Robbins is still active in films, so he could be available for a commentary. Whether he would do one - and whether Paramount would bother - is a different matter. I forgot the "Dragonslayer" DVD...

I still remember a Robin Williams interview from this era where he talks about problems they had with the octopus used in one scene. The Paramount-financed octo didn't work, so they called in Disney and had one that could make you dinner and teach calculus in no time! :D

I kinda liked it in 1980 when I was 13. When I watched the DVD back in... whenever that came out, I pretty much hated it. Altman was 100% the wrong person for this movie. Maybe I'll change my mind on 3rd viewing!

Now that I would've enjoyed! The actual released "Flashdance" is terrible. A Cronenberg version would've been awesome! :D
