I’ve had some occasional weirdness with podcasts and music going silent in the past and the only way to correct the issue was to turn off the car and restart it. Simply unplugging the lightning cable wasn’t sufficient. My issues were finally corrected by an iOS update early last year and I‘ve...

I’ve noticed some weird CarPlay behavior after going to 13.4.1. I now get random freezes in maps, music, and Overcast. Yesterday I asked Siri to send my wife a text while I was driving and everything became unresponsive with my head unit actually completely disengaging from CarPlay. Luckily, I...

It still happens occasionally with the local weather app on both my personal and work iPhones, but not nearly as much as when I first migrated to iOS 13.

Yep. I have noticed Most of the same things John did. Another reason that I’m glad I disabled slide to type. Autocorrect seemed to be even weirder with it turned on. *iOS 13 also randomly capitalizes letters now. An example of this is in my sentence above where autocorrect decided all on its...

Why leave it on if I’m not using it? ;) It feels wholly unnatural and it takes me longer to use slide to type than just thumb typing.

I ran into a iOS 13.1 bug this morning. Overcast constantly crashes when I try to play a podcast via the CarPlay interface on my head unit. It states the content can’t be loaded right now then crashes to the home screen. If I unlock my iPhone and start the podcast from the app, it plays fine...

I had to turn off slide to type. Much like predictive text, it got on my nerves real quick.

After talking with a few people who have iOS 13 installed, I went ahead and installed it on my 7+. It works fine. No issues or bugs to report here.

I’m waiting until 13.1 too. It’s just as well since my home internet’s been out for two days.
