A lot of people seems to agree that Metropolis looks good at 20 fps. BUT it has turned out that the original 1926 music composed by G. Huppertz is marked "26-28 fps" and lines up very well with the picture that way. By slowing it down to 24, it looks better, but to slow it down further to 20...
