    This isn't "mobile version" in the traditional sense (e.g. it kicking you to a subdomain like m.hometheaterforum.com). It's all based on browser window width (or screen resolution) measured in pixels, not type of device. Consequently, even if you request the desktop version it won't do any good...

    Unfortunately (based on your preferences), "rearrangement" is the current trend and best practice / emerging standard around website design. I think as time goes on you will find fewer and fewer sites that do not do this.

It's based on your screen resolution, so even if you are on a desktop browser, if you change the browser window to something as narrow as 640px wide, the site will change to a stacked...
